New Changes

We made some new changes toward the Silent Auction.
Please check out our auction page for the updated list of items and our higgest bids.
Note: Please do not bid lower than the higgest bid! (It might sound like a stupid reminder but someone actually did that)

2 Days Left...

Yes, we have 2 days left...

Rules For Bidding

If you want to bid, here are the guidelines (or you can also check out the auction page):

1. You need to register as a bidder by sending an email to info@nyartists.org with the subject header “Silent Auction Bidder." Include in the body of the email: your full name, address, and a phone number to reach you in case we have a question about your bid.

2. We will send a link to the Silent Auction bidders who sign up. You may share the link with others, but they must still register as a bidder before we can accept their bids. We also link from the NY Artists Unlimited home page to the Silent Auction page.

3. You can email a bid to us at info@nyartists.org—please include the Lot # and Item Name in your subject header. If yours is the high bid of the day, it will be posted with your initials as “high bidder."

4. The daily bids will be posted as we receive them throughout the day, with a minimum of once every hour. Just remember that we cannot be online all the time during the day, and the first update of the day is 9:00 am and the last is 9:00 pm, so some bids will be delayed in getting posted. You can see if your bid was accepted and if your initials are listed as the "highest bidder."

5. You may leave a “highest bid” to try to guarantee your item and prevent it from being outbid. We will only note your first bid online; your “highest bid” will be noted privately in our files.

6. Bidding will continue until August 14th, 2009.

7. Postage will be charged additionally for any items you win, unless you are able to pick them up at the NY Artists Unlimited office, 212 West 14th Street, Suite #2A, NYC 10011. Please call for appointment: 212-242-6036.

8. For the “Coffee with…” items, we will act as a medium in planning the coffee get-together unless decided by the item donor. In addition, the winning bidder will pay for the coffee and/or food; where and what is to be decided between winning bidder and donor.

9. Email us any questions or concerns. Remember to use “Silent Auction Bidder” as your subject header.
